I watch Judge Judy every night. I get a kick out of the way she can see
through people and she knows whether they're telling the truth or lying through
their teeth.
It is as if she was there when the incident occurred. It is refreshing to
know that there is a Judge such as Judge Judy on the bench who does not play
favortism and who treats all who appear before her fairly. I hope Judge Judy
continues for a long time. I love you Judge Judy.

Great show, great lady. As a social worker I am bothererd by the abuse of
our tax money by many that do not need assistance. By the same token I feelt
for those that really are in need and don't qualify because of some stupid
policy. I am tired by the lack of responsabilities of many adults, by the
abuse children have to suffer in the hands of inept parents. Also, the juvenile
delinquents that demand their rights, after stabbing some innocent person.
Sometimes I have to bite my tongue and proceed in a courteous manner because
it is the" pollitically correct" thing to do. I wish I could say what I really
feel to many of them,like Judge Judy does.
Keep up the Great work!

Judy's common sense approach to the law. I also respect her beliefs regarding

First of all my husband and I have been watching your show for
almost a year.And we LOVE IT,I tape it during the day and when Hubby gets home
we watch it together..We agree with most of Judge Judys rulings.But in the case
of Engebretson vs.Beaver, we must say that Judge Judy missed the boat on this
one..We agree with Beaver that The Engebretsons had motives other than liking
him as a waiter and being friends with him...Judge Judy we thought you were
perfect...haha. We love your show and never miss it.Keep up the good work...

You had a case the aired recently about an older Granny that bought a
grand son a motorcycle. I am a 44 year old Dad with 3 children. I have
also had the privilage of having my 73 year old mother live with us until
she passed away about a year ago. I am rarely moved to write letters.
HOWEVER, I greatly admire you personally as well as the common sense
judgements that you hand down. I have to admit that I felt soo sorry for
that lady, I was moved to tears for her. Thank you for your presents and
rulings. Please keep up the excellent work.....May God Continue To Bless

I am currently reading your book. I agree wholeheartedly with your ideas,
and it is absolutely necessary that you run for political office. This country

have a man that borrowed some money and will not pay me back. He uses women! He
has every excuse in the book and lies. He has a job but no assets. He just
blows his money on himself, like a new car and won't pay me back for the money
I loaned him for his sons car. I just wish there was something I could do about

comes to an absolute halt when she is on. I won't even answer my phone if

Dear Judge Judy,

I am recently a mother of 6 children. 3 stepsons ages 7, 9, and 11; 2 biological
daughters ages 14, and 16 and 1 biological son 4 months. I need you to know
how watching your show has actually made me a stronger parent and helped
me to realize that by saying no and standing strong I am essentially helping
my children to be good and decent adults. Unfortunately when you go through
a divorce you tend to try to be a friend to your child because of guilt that
the marriage didn't work which is probably the worst thing you coud do for
them. I too am guilty of this behavior and realized, luckily in time for
my teenage daughter's sake, that I am their parent first and their friend
second (to steal a quote). Your show has helped me to be strong in my convictions
and not to sway for their own good. I also got my sister who works full
time to tape your show every afternoon. We love you and think your wonderful.
More people should care as you do. The world would be a wonderful place.

Court. My Mom worked with her for several years and I met her many
times (Byrd too). She was just as tough on the bench as she is now, but she's a

with your ruling on todays airing concerning the seventeen year old racing
around a quite neighbourhood with his boombox blasting. We need a Judge like
you in our area--we have plenty of those who do not adhere to prudent driving
or safe speeds. Montgomery County, MD also has a noise ordinance but one
would not believe it with all of the loud noise coming out of vehicles (especially
after eleven at night) and little if no enforcement. Thank you.

I enjoy Judge Judy. I watch her so much each day I can. I think
that she is fair most of the time. There are two shows that I had a problem
with and wanted to make a comment on. The first show was the one the the
handicap attorney has sueing the lady for keying his car. I feel that if
the man had a camera with him and took pictures of her in that parking space
he would have taken a photo of her keying the car. And if two sets of police
came to the scene they would have charged her with vandalism. And as a mother
I would never act out in front of my children because I teach them that that
is not right. Today I felt that even tough that family did help that girl
alot if she use the cerdir card she should have to pay for it. The defendant
said she recived the settlement check to pay her back in March but the card
was used after the check was recieved how could dhe have pay her back for
something she didn't owe yet. The Judge felt bad about what the girl was
doing and I feel that she made her decision before she came out. The plantiff
never got to plead her case. All they talked about was what happened during
the two years. Thank you

as president of the US next election. "Don't Pee on My Leg and
Tell Me It's Raining" oozes truth and I highly recommend reading
it if you wonder how we, as tax paying, WORKING Americans foot
the bill for welfare cheats and bogus governmental "programs". I
tape an hour of "Judge Judy" every day and watch it before I go

her twice a day. I changed my work schedule so I could see her.
